The Community Connectivity Committee is composed of 4 Palmetto Bay residents appointed by Mayor Cunningham and 4 Cutler Bay residents appointed by Mayor Meerbott. The Committee was created by appointed District 8 County Commissioner Cohen Higgins to meet 4 times and prepare a report outlining the members' positions concerning the construction of a bridge over the C-100 canal at SW 87th Avenue from SW 164th Street to SW 163rd Terrace.
Mayor Cunningham is withdrawing the Village of Palmetto Bay's participation from the committee and will hold a meeting, along with her appointed committee members, on Thursday, February 25th at 7 pm to discuss the Community Connectivity Committee. This meeting will be held in lieu of the scheduled Community Connectivity Committee meeting.
