Happy Holidays! We're blessed to live in such a great part of the country and I am honored to be your Mayor. It was one year ago this week I took the Oath of Office, and I couldn’t be prouder to represent you and create a community that works for everyone.

I hope you'll take a few minutes to watch my one-year message to all Orange County residents. Please also remember the Toy Drive will continue until Dec. 10. You can drop off a new, unwrapped toy to benefit Orange County children in need. For drop-off locations, visit www.ocfl.net/ToyDrive .

An upcoming Transportation Town Hall will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 6:30 p.m. at the West Orange Recreation Center located at 309 SW Crown Point Rd in Winter Garden. In addition, Mayor Demings will host an “Ask Me Anything about Transportation” on Orange County’s Facebook page at 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 16. Details at www.ocfl.net/Transportation .
HOUSING FOR ALL
Orange County Housing for All Ten-year action plan
Mayor Demings’ Housing for All Task Force convened on Nov. 15 to meet on its final recommendations for its 10-year action plan. Holiday Collection Schedule
There will be NO COLLECTION on Christmas Day for garbage, recycling, yard waste or large items. During the holiday week, Wednesday collection will be on Thursday, Thursday collection will be on Friday, and Friday collection will be on Saturday. Please place materials curbside by 6 a.m.

New Year's Day, Wednesday, Jan. 1, is a regular collection day.
