Also on Tuesday September 14 (tomorrow), Morris Township will be holding its 20th anniversary 9/11 ceremony starting at 6:00 pm. The ceremony will take place at our own 9/11 monument located adjacent the gazebo at Ginty Field. The public is invited to join the Township Committee, Police Color Guard, and other Public Safety representatives at this outdoors special event. You can view the program HERE.

And because of the added 9/11 ceremony to our schedule we have moved up the start time of our quarterly Board Of Health meeting which will now begin at 4:30 pm on Tuesday September 14. The agenda, including instructions on how to log into our meeting, can be found HERE.
Due to multiple rainouts, the final concert of the summer concert series has now been rescheduled for Sunday, September 26 at 3:00 pm . Come out and enjoy listening to the Hanover Wind Symphony – and invite some friends to join you!. This event is free and open to the public. More information on this concert can be found HERE.
Check out the Parks & Recreation Fall Brochure! Activities include Outdoor Yoga, Zumba, Line Dancing; Adult & Youth Tennis & Pickleball Instruction; Family Movie Night, Trunk or Treat, Soccer, & Multi-Sports camp. You can view the entire brochure HERE.
Lastly, I continue to urge all of our municipal employees and all of our residents to get vaccinated. I also encourage everyone to wear a mask indoors when you are visiting public places. Our community has been relatively healthy these past few months, but with kids back in school now, none of us want to see school disrupted by a COVID outbreak. Let’s keep each other safe – particularly our kids – by wearing a mask when warranted.
To keep informed on all the news and events taking place in our town residents should sign up for our Municipal Messenger notifications, which are an invaluable tool to receive updates and information about Morris Township. Sincerely,
Jeff Grayzel
