Winter Storm Warning Issued; Plows Prepared

As always the Service Department is ready to plow City streets.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning lasting through Saturday morning, January 20.

Please be patient and give the crews time to clear the main roads first. Next, they will plow secondary streets before clearing snow from residential developments.

If you signed up for Senior Snow Removal, remember the plow operators have 16 hours after they are called to finish their assigned routes. If you don't have to travel - stay home and please do not park on the street.

Let's give trucks room to clear roads quickly and efficiently.

Kickstart Basketball

Scores Points With Players

Players compete in games as part of the Kickstart basketball program.

The City's Kickstart basketball program has become a popular program with our youngsters. Ten teams comprised of more than 60 players tipped off the season on the weekend of January 6.

Because of the number of players participating in the program this year, several games are being played at the Fieldhouse. It's nice to see more players and teams competing this season.

Keep an eye out for these programs heading your way this year. Youth Golf, Sand Volleyball, Adult Kickball, Adult Soccer, Wiffleball, and Adult Flag Football are among the new programs planned in 2024.
