For the first time, the Mayor of Jerusalem presented ten non-profit organizations with an Excellence Award for their volunteer work.

The Michael Levin Base was picked by the selection committee to receive this prestigious award.

Lone soldiers who need to improve their Hebrew are sent to Michve Alon for a Hebrew course. This is considered part of their service, before they receive their assigned units.

Our team drove north to the Michve Alon Base to attend the graduation ceremony, as most parents aren't able to attend.

We took pizza and other treats as well essential supplies.
