A Message from Mayor Susan Shin Angulo

Dear Neighbor:
I’m happy to announce the grant application for Cherry Hill nonprofits is now open.
These grants will total up to $20,000 dollars and can be used for new or existing projects, or can go towards reimbursement for expenses related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Through these grants, we will help offset costs borne by Cherry Hill community-based nonprofits who provide critical support to residents in need, especially those struggling during these challenging times. Our nonprofits serve many of our most vulnerable residents and this initiative demonstrates our commitment to assist the very important work that they do each and every day. You can download the application on the Community Development portion of our website.
If you have any questions regarding the nonprofit grant application, contact the Community Development Department at (856) 488-7870.
I also want to welcome our newest members to the Cherry Hill Planning Board. Our newest members embody the diverse, professional, and varied backgrounds necessary to represent Cherry Hill. I want to thank them for their anticipated service to our community, and wish them the best of luck in their efforts to make the best decisions they can on behalf of us all.
In a time of uncertainty, particularly when we are challenged by fear, there are people ready and willing to reach out. Taking care of ourselves and each other is paramount. For those residents who are having difficulty coping with the COVID-19 crisis, please call the Mental Health Association in New Jersey at (877) 294-HELP (4357) between the hours of 8AM to 8PM Monday through Friday or 10AM to 5PM Saturday and Sunday for emotional support, guidance, and mental health referrals as needed.
Please continue to stay safe.
Sincerely,
|
