Hello to all of our Weekend Loving Residents and Surrounding Communities:

I would like to wish all of the Fathers out there a Very Happy Father's Day Weekend.

We hope you can join us at Foxwood Pond tomorrow, Saturday, June 14th for the Village of Suffern Annual Fishing Derby. Registration begins at 9:30am,with fishing and a BBQ at the Mahwah Elks to follow. Weather looks tricky, and the derby is Rain or Shine, so bring your outdoor gear, meet us at the pond and catch some fish. This event is a catch and release - so we will put the fishies back in the pond. There will be prizes and fun!

Below are pictures from our 5th Grade Dance held at the Community Center last Friday night. We had a blast and know that the kids did too! The Village Board, the Suffern PBA, Cathy Mills and I were happy to see so many kids there.

DJ Twizzler did a great job with the music, and kept us all entertained.

See below for Pool Registration Dates. All Registration is done at Suffern Village Hall (41 Washington Avenue).

Thank you to our Recreation Department for being there to greet our residents, and sign them up for the pool. We look forward to a great summer. Our DPW crew is getting the pool ready and it's looking great!

We have a great staff at the pool this summer, and they are looking forward to seeing everyone.

The pool opens on Saturday, June 28th at 11am. Our 1st Pool Party of the season will be on Saturday, July 12th. We will have fun activities planned!

We just learned that the Suffern High School Girls Lacrosse team won their game in Cortland today. Congratulations! They will be playing tomorrow at 11:30am for the State Championship. Good luck girls!

Best Regards, Mayor Curley
