MAYOR'S UPDATE

From the desk of Mayor Rika Levin

It was an honor to thank Mr. Robert Whiting for his 50 years of service with the Ossining Fire Department this weekend. Steamer Company and his sons, who followed in his footsteps in the department, honored him with a moving ceremony. Thank you, Bob, for your service.

Thank you, Central Committee of Organized War Veterans, for organizing Ossining's 105th Veteran's Day Ceremony in the Town of Ossining. I appreciate everyone who came out and the Village Recreation & Parks Department for setting things up and keeping the Memorial area looking good all year long.

If you see this car filming, please take note that the Town of Ossining is in the process of conducting a reappraisal for the 2025 Assessment Roll. In addition to the data mailers that have been sent to property owners, another important part of this reappraisal is to confirm that the Assessor's Office has accurate and up-to-date exterior images of all properties. The Town hired one of the industry leaders in street-level imagery to perform a street-level image capture. Images taken during the drive will be used for official purposes only and will replace older images currently found on the Property Record Card.
