Join us for the Menorah Lighting at Market Square, sponsored by the local Chabad on December 17th at 6:00 PM. Refreshments will be served.

The Central Committee of Organized War Veterans of the Town of Ossining will hold its Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day on Sunday, December 7th @ noon, at Village Hall (16 Croton Ave).

Please join us for a tribute to the many men and women that served in that period of American History when the United States of America were attacked by a foreign power seeking to destroy us and our way of life.

I invite you to experience the authentic character of Ossining by shopping and dining right here in the village. Whether it is for a carefully crafted brew, delicious local food, or shopping at one of our independent retailers, you’ll find everything from unique, handmade gifts or specialty goods. All this while supporting our neighbors who define this community, creating a more sustainable and distinctive experience that truly reflects the spirit of Ossining.

Westchester County is offering 108 affordable ownership condominiums through separate lotteries for two newly-renovated, all-affordable buildings in White Plains. These units, which include studios, one-bedroom, and three-bedroom layouts, are available to households earning at or below 100% of the Area Median Income. Certain units have preferences for households affected by Hurricane Ida or residents with Mobility or Hearing/Vision impairments. The new condos offer amenities such as a lounge, co-working space, fitness room, and outdoor seating.

The two locations and their respective deadlines are: 6 Cottage Place (40 units) with an application deadline of February 12, 2026 and a lottery on March 3, 2026; and 99 Church Street (68 units) with an application deadline of March 2, 2026 and a lottery on March 17, 2026. First occupancy is expected in July 2026. Residents must register on the Westchester County HomeSeeker site (homeseeker.westchestergov.com) to create a household profile and participate. For more information, contact John Hofstetter at the WC Department of Planning via email.

The market will then close for the winter and looks forward to welcoming everyone back in the spring on Saturday, May 2, 2026. Thank you for supporting your local farmers and vendors!
