Mayra Cano and Timea Reichert join Youth for Christ International World Leadership Team

Englewood, CO - 11/12/19 - Youth for Christ International (YFCI) is proud to announce the additions of Mayra Cano (JPC LATAM/South) and Timea Reichert (EMENA) to the World Leadership Team (WLT) for YFCI. Their role will be to serve as collaborative leaders and voices of the field representing the Americas (North and South) and EMENA (Europe, Middle East, North Africa) Areas with other members of the WLT as we continue to reach every young person in the world and give them an opportunity to personally know Jesus.

They both bring a great amount of experience, talent, and heart to the team," said Dave Brereton, International Director for YFCI.

About Mayra Cano

Mayra joined the Youth for Christ International family in 2007 through Juventud Para Cristo Colombia. After attending Youth for Christ's General Assembly in 2008 on the Young Leader track, God affirmed Mayra's heart to answer the call of reaching youth with the Gospel through Youth for Christ full time. Mayra has served graciously throughout Latin America in various roles and is currently the Regional Director for South America. As an avid traveler, Mayra takes her joy and adventurous spirit all over the world for both work and fun.

About Timea Reichert

Timea officially joined the Youth for Christ family in 2008 when she was a volunteer at a YFC mission program in Hungary. This paved the way for ten years of service as the National Director of Youth for Christ in Hungary. While being blessed to see the national ministry grow, serving in a broader capacity remained on Timea's heart and she currently serves the Western Region of the EMENA Area as Assistant to the Regional Director. She and her husband now call Germany home. Her life's motto is "Every young person counts" thus helping her to give her best each day.
