WOW! November certainly has kept up with our theme for the year! MFA Alumnus Craig Hall appeared on the AMAs, MFA Alumna Ambria Mahomes passed the Bar Exam, Dance Dad Issac Clark performed with MFA student-teacher India Renteria and MFA drama teacher Moriah Warfield in The Lyric Opera's Dead Man Walking, and MFA student Liliana Renteria performed in The Lyric Opera's Luisa Miller! To top it all off, our Office Manager extraordinaire, Mrs. Bea, gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on Thanksgiving! We are so thankful for all of them and every one of you that support Maywood Fine Arts. WOW!

Craig Hall and Misty Copeland Perform on the American Music Awards One of our most decorated dance alumnus, Craig Hall, danced with Misty Copeland during a Taylor Swift performance on the AMAs! Skate Party Fundraiser! Don't miss our skate party fundraiser on November 30th at 4pm at Lombard Roller Rink. This year the GOTS interns are selling tickets to raise money to purchase custom dance jackets. Get your tickets at the door, or if you can't make it, consider making a donation for their new gear. MFA at The Lyric Opera of Chicago Lyric Opera of Chicago believes in the life-changing, transformational, revelatory power of great art and opera, so it is no surprise to see MFA actors grace their stage. This month, Dance-Dad Issac Clark, MFA student-teacher India Renteria, and MFA Drama Teacher Moriah Warfield performed in Dead Man Walking, and MFA student Liliana Renteria performed in Luisa Miller!

Ambria passed the California bar exam! Look out law-firms! MFA Alumnus Ambria Mahomes passed the California bar exam! Though we know dance is her true passion, she is smart enough to know how to get the bills paid! We know she is going to achieve more greatness!

Thanksgiving baby at MFA Mrs. Bea, the Maywood Fine Arts office manager and the glue that holds us together, gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on Thanksgiving Day! We are ecstatic to welcome baby Artemis Luna to the world!
