Job Opportunities
Snohomish County Parks and Recreation is now accepting applications for McCollum Park Pool staff. 

Pool positions available include pool manager, lifeguards, swim instructors, swim team coach, assistant coach, pool maintenance and lessons coordinator.

We will also be accepting applications for Seasonal Park Aides starting the week of 
April 13.  Openings will be throughout the County Parks System.

The park aide season will be June 21 to 
Sept. 12.

Lifeguard Training Course lifeguard
April 6-10, 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.
Mariner High School

Comprehensive 30-hour American Red Cross course features hands-on practice, live-action video demonstrations and a participant's manual enhanced with detailed photos and easy-to-understand text to maximize comprehension.

Course Pre-Requisites:

* 15 years and older; * Ability to swim 300 yards; 

* Ability to tread water for 2 minutes; * 100% attendance

* Timed event (1 min: 40 s): 

swim 20 yards; recover 10 lb. brick @ 10 ft and swim with brick back to start point holding it with both hands

11th annual murder mystery fundraiser another successful event

Helping stop hunger one play at a time!
The Snohomish County Parks Department and Evergreen State Fairgrounds staff, volunteers and county employees give a big THANK YOU to everyone who made a murderously fun night on March 7.

Thank you, too, to all the companies and individuals who donated items for the silent auction.
 
Proceeds from the dinner and auction totaling over $3,000 will be donated to the local food banks.

Be sure to watch for our announcement of next year's theme for an opportunity to hone your detective skills once again.
