MCHENRY'S NEXT REPLACES YOUNG PROFESSIONALS
We are excited to launch our newest initiative, McHenry's Next!
McHenry’s Next is designed for our next business and community leaders, giving them an opportunity to build relationships and love their community. Although there is no age restriction, attendees are typically between the ages of 21 and 45. We provide community engagement, social activities, and leadership development for young professionals and people and businesses new to the McHenry area.

Our McHenry’s Next committees create and host events open to all throughout McHenry County & Northeastern Illinois. We will focus on three facets:
  • Social Events
  • Volunteer Opportunities
  • Leadership Bootcamp

There are no dues and no commitment. Attend the activities that you want and pay as you go (if there is a fee for the activity).

Our first McHenry's Next committee meetings are next week. If you or one of your employees are interested in joining one of the planning committees, please contact Molly or Pete.

ComEd’s is recruiting contractors for the 2021 Incubator Cohort 
What: ComEd’s Diverse Energy Efficiency Service Provider Incubator program is recruiting members for the 2021 cohort starting in March. The program supports the development of diverse contractors by offering education and training on ComEd’s Energy Efficiency program offerings, providing one-on-one assistance with certification applications and business growth plans, and helping contractors address barriers to building a successful business in the energy efficiency fields.

At the end of the 8-week training program, contractors will be eligible to join ComEd’s Energy Efficiency Service Provider Network and represent the ComEd Portfolio to customers, helping them to receive rebates and incentives for the successful completion of energy efficiency projects.

This education and business development program is typically held in-person in Chicago, however due to COVID, we are moving to a completely virtual format and hoping to recruit contractors from farther out areas.
