Karmanos Cancer Institute was recently named the preferred cancer treatment provider in Michigan by NRC Health. This gives us the opportunity to launch a corporate campaign that we will localize where and when we can to promote the Karmanos Cancer Institute at McLaren Flint and the Proton Therapy Center. Billboards are going up this week and much more is being planned for the next few months including television and radio ads, digital and print ads as well as social media posts. FLU SHOTS NOW AVAILABLE

Annual flu shots are now available in Employee Health Monday through Friday from

7 a.m. to 3 p.m. A flu shot clinic is also scheduled for October 10 from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Dining Room 1. No appointments are necessary.

Lions Football Squares Winners Announced

There were 100 McLaren Flint employees chosen in a random drawing to participate in the game. The winners based on their positioning on the board were Michael Hayward, HVAC Tech, Melanie McDermott, ER RN, Paul Peariso Resource RN, and Jesse Smith, CRNA. Congratulations!

On the Hunt for Summer Fun Weeks 11 & 12 Clues Released

Clues for Weeks 11 & 12 are here and can also be found on the Forward Together page on the McLaren Intranet. The scavenger hunt continues through the end of September.

September Dedicated Parking Spot Winner

The Forward Together Committee congratulates Alicia Newman, RN on 11S Oncology, as the September dedicated parking spot winner. Alicia will have access to this special parking spot located in the visitor ramp.

"Moving Together" Reminder

The McLaren Flint Cardiac Rehab Gym is now available to employees. Those interested must fill out an application form and turn it into the dropbox located outside of the Human Resources department before badge access can be given. The hours of operation for employee use are Monday through Sunday 5 p.m. -2 a.m. The application form is available here.
