McNeese Men's Rodeo Team Reserve Champions

The McNeese men’s rodeo team claimed its second consecutive reserve championship – second best in the nation – at the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyoming, and also won two reserve national individual championships Saturday (June 17) night.

McNeese Student and RFL Scholar Visits Paris

For Isaiah Johnson, being a Reginald F. Lewis Scholar gave him the opportunity to take his first flight on a trip to Paris this spring!

Johnson, a McNeese student from Opelousas, is part of the first group of 13 University of Louisiana System’s Reginald F. Lewis Scholars.

McNeese's Health Systems Management Program

Macey Guillory, of Lake Charles, graduated in May from McNeese with a Bachelor of Science degree in health systems management that she earned while working full time.

College of Nursing and Health Professions Receives Matching Donation for Scholarships

The McNeese College of Nursing and Health Professions has received an anonymous gift that will benefit students in all programs in the college. Matching contributions of up to $5,000 have been made for six scholarships designated for students pursuing health care careers.

McNeese Associate Professor Creates SWLA Economic Intel Podcast

Dr. Dan Groft, director of the H.C. Drew Center for Business and Economic Analysis and associate professor at McNeese, has created a podcast called Southwest Louisiana Economic Intel.

Ochsner CHRISTUS Urgent Care Open

Ochsner CHRISTUS Urgent Care at the corner of Sale Road and Ryan Street is now open! This new clinic is open to the public, but will also be the Student Health Services and the Counseling Center for McNeese students.

Sa'Trica Williams Supports McNeese

Sa’Trica Williams has donated $2,000 to the McNeese Alumni Association for the McNeese Black Alumni Chapter.
