Annual 2025 Gecas Financial Wellness Event

Valentine’s Day is great, but financial empowerment with your best gals? Even better! Grab your Galentine and join us on February 13, for Let’s Talk Money—an evening of financial wellness, smart money moves, and women supporting women.

Join us for a dinner and a keynote address on financial wellness by Mical Y. Jeanlys-White, Founder & CEO of WealthMore, followed by a conversation between students & alum on breaking the taboo of talking about money, demystifying navigating financial decisions, and closing the wealth gap by making expert advisors accessible and affordable to all.

These discussions are especially relevant to women, but all are welcome to attend this multi-generational program aimed at bringing together students, alumni, faculty, and staff to learn from experts and each other.

Women, Faith, and Leadership Book Club

Every second Thursday of the month, join the Women, Faith, and Leadership initiative's spring semester book club focused on Mother Cabrini. We will be reading Mother Cabrini: Italian Immigrant of the Century by Mary Louise Sullivan, MSC and discuss Mother Cabrini's example of faith and leadership, especially in caring for poor Italian immigrants. We hope that this will kickstart conversations about women's leadership and what we hope her example can bring to our Villanova community.
