A Message from the Director

November brings gratitude to the fore, and though it may feel hard to do when there are so many ills in the world, research shows that the practice is even more impactful in challenging times. As we start to wind down the semester, we are grateful for those who have supported our work, for the minds of hearts of the students and scholars who are advancing our mission through programs like those described herein, and for the strength of the Villanova community.

Ambassador Highlight of the Month

On October 14th-19th, a group of Villanova Students traveled to Panama for the Villanova Medical Brigade. They provided medical and dental screenings for free to members of the community. This trip was organized by Villanova Students, and all participants fundraised to make it happen.

Sara Withers '26 says, "Medical Global Brigades in Panama was a life changing experience for me, as we were so welcomed by the people of the Province of Coclé. To provide medical access to a community that was so generous to us was beyond rewarding, and learning about their healthcare system was very valuable as I continue to pursue a medical career here in the United States".
