JOIN THE FAMILY ALLIANCE MEETING
Wednesday, August 7 at 9:15 a.m. at Tierra Mia Coffee
As a small, community-based school, we thrive on parent participation. Parent involvement at the Academy enriches the student experience and is a great way to meet other parents and stay connected to the school. Join the Family Alliance meeting this
Wednesday, August 7 at 9:15 a.m. at Tierra Mia
Coffee (425 East PCH Hwy) to help prepare for the new school year.
We ask families to volunteer between 10-20 hours each year in an effort to support and strengthen the greater Academy community. The time and talent parents share with the Academy are deeply appreciated and vital to the longevity of the school.
In the past, the Family Alliance has supported events such as
- Exhibition of Learning events
- Campus Tours and Information Sessions
- After-school clubs
- Chipotle FUNdraiser
- School Dances (Halloween and Semi-Formal)
- Teacher Appreciation Week
- Field-trips
If you are unable to make this meeting, but have ideas or want to be more involved, feel free to email Crystal Day, crystal.day@academylongbeach.org.
Thank you! Go Tritons!
