Comp-X Medical Management is the new name of Med-X!
Why the name change??
After several years of confusion between our Med-X and several other companies with similar names, we have decided to embark on a re-branding journey to make sure our clients are not led astray by other providers. Now that Med-X has expanded our services beyond transportation the confusion has intensified.
We've chosen Comp-X Medical Management to clearly identify our company with its dedication to the workers' compensation industry. Although Med-X provides services to other payers our primary focus has always been workers' comp. Even with our name change, we will continue working with these different payers. Everyone and everything you loved about Med-X is still here!
We didn't sell Med-X or merge with another company, we just changed our name. Lenny, Ashley, Joann, Frederica, Janet and everyone else is still here!
As a national company, we run into more and more companies with a similar name to Med-X on a consistent basis. Re-branding as Comp-X will allows us to trademark our name, use Comp-X on our vehicles locally and end the confusion with other similarly named companies.
Beware of other companies calling themselves MedX, Medex or anything that sounds like Med-X. For example, there is a company out there selling car service franchises called MedX. This is not our company! We are not affiliated with this company in any way.
Recently a new case manager was instructed to use Med-X for transportation. The case manager used Google and searched Medex Transportation and found a provider that was not Med-X. This company happens to be around the corner from our office. Needless to say, the other provider didn't have the same quality standards as Med-X or discount pricing.
We hope you will embrace our new name. Nothing else, except email addresses and our website are changing.
