The City of Edmonton External Elders Knowledge Keepers Advisory Committee will be celebrating the City’s commitment to the Indigenous Awareness training, Ka wapiskisit asiniy, for all employees.
Mayor Don Iveson, City Manager Linda Cochrane and Talent Management and Support Services Branch Manager Jeff MacPherson will be gifted with spirit names.

Over the last three years, more than 8,000 City employees have completed training that educates staff on the history of residential schools, intergenerational impact and encourages dialogue on reconciliation in the workplace.
