CAMARILLO, Calif. –
The public is invited to join
Ventura County Fire Department
(VCFD) and Vitalant for a Blood Drive on Thursday, June 18, 2020 from 8:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
The Bloodmobile will be located at 555 Airport Way, on the Camarillo Airport grounds at the corner of Airport Way and Durley Avenue, to support the vital needs of the county.
VCFD and Vitalant are operating within the
CDC
and
County Health guidelines
to ensure the public's safety, as blood donations are more vital than ever.
Many safety precautions are in place to ensure a safe donation experience including:
• Changing the set up to meet social distancing requirements.
• Following rigorous safety and disinfection protocols at blood drives and donation centers.
• Vitalant is taking temperatures upon entry of the donation center/blood drive.
