Alive After Five
Boise's Favorite FREE Summer Concert Series
Announces Final Concert of the Season Lineup!
June 19, 2019

Alive After Five , Downtown Boise’s free summer concert series will close out the 2019 season in foot-stomping style.

Closing night, Wednesday, August 28 - Hillstomp is coming to the Alive After Five stage. Opening for Hillstomp is Boise favorite Nick Delffs.

Hillstomp is a duo from Portland, Oregon. Henry Hill Kammerer and John Johnson have been making music the past 17 years and touring with the likes of The Avett Brothers, Reverend Horton Heat, and The Devil Makes Three.

Hillstomp is a festival fan favorite, playing across America and Europe at festivals including Treefort, Pickathon, Telluride, and SXSW. The H illstomp sound has been described as a boombox blasting from a shopping cart; a couple madmen have stocked the cart with car parts, buckets and guitars, a banjo and megaphone, a washboard and kick drum, with the band playing mercilessly while bystanders dance away. Hillstomp is folk music in its purest form – from loud and gritty, to intricate and poignant, and most importantly, always heartfelt and true.

Opening for Hillstomp is Nick Delffs, an amazingly talented, diverse artist and songwriter, a Portland native living in Boise returns to the Alive After Five stage. Nick Delffs latest release Redesign is out now.
