Boise, October 18, 2021 – Downtown Boise Association (DBA) will celebrate the 11th year of its annual dining promotion in 2021. The promotion showcases unique dining experiences found in Downtown Boise and is designed to encourage the community to revisit an old favorite or discover something new at one of the more than two dozen participating restaurants in downtown. The 10-day promotion runs from Friday, October 29 through Sunday, November 7, 2021.
Participating restaurants have designed and will offer special prix fixe menus for the duration of the promotion in addition to their regular menus. These special menus offer the community the opportunity to enjoy dining at select price points and offers a range of options including $10 or $15 Social Hour, $10 2-Course Lunch or Breakfast, $15 2-Course Dinner, $30 3-Course Dinner, or a Fine Dining option.
Brickyard owner and long-time participant Chad Johnson said, "Dine Out Downtown allows BrickYard Steakhouse to showcase a chef inspired feature, while guests have an opportunity to experience our exceptional service. Make sure to get reservations early as space is limited and Dine Out week will surely be a busy one!"
Prix fixe menus are digital and can be found on the Dine Out Downtown Boise Restaurant Week page at downtownboise.org beginning October 22nd. Previewing the menus and making reservations for many participating locations is recommended but not necessary. Prices for the prix fixe menus are generally per person and do not include tax and/or gratuities.
Jennifer Hensley, Executive Director of the DBA, recommends that community members make the most of the promotion to “Find a new favorite local eatery while also exploring all that downtown has to offer and support small businesses during what is typically a slower time of the year. Pro tip - don't miss all the new downtown mural art as you wander from social hour to dinner, and then come back for lunch.”
Downtown Boise Association thanks sponsor partners for their support of Dine Out Downtown Boise Restaurant Week including Shamrock Foods, Southwest Idaho Travel Association, Idaho Preferred, Idaho Wine Commission, FARE Idaho, and Radio Boise.
“Our local team at Shamrock Foods cares deeply about our relationship with our customers, our supplier partners and our community. We serve from the heart, going the extra mile to help them survive through unprecedented times and thrive coming out of it. We are honored to partner with the Downtown Boise Association in showcasing our incredibly diverse downtown restaurant community during the Dine Out Downtown promotion,” said Mike Ruffner of Shamrock Foods.
