Welcomes Four New Board Members,
New Board President
June 25, 2019

The Board of Directors for the Downtown Boise Association recently welcomed four new members and elected a new board president for the 2019-2020 term. The new board members were announced at the DBA Annual Meeting, the State of Downtown Boise event April 17. The new Board President was elected at the board’s meeting in May.
The DBA is a 501c6 and authorized by the city of Boise to manage the downtown Boise business improvement district. The DBA and the downtown business improvement district exist to enhance the image, vitality, safety, cleanliness, and competitiveness of downtown Boise.
“What better way to build business than build community around it, and that’s what the DBA does,” said Lynn Hightower, Executive Director of the Downtown Boise Association. 
“The DBA does all it can to make downtown Boise a great place to be, a place where people feel welcomed to come together to innovate and celebrate, and to generate the kind of economic activity needed for a strong, healthy city. DBA board members are tremendous advocates and great resources in keeping the city and the downtown strong and successful.”

Kelly Hibbs. Hibbs has served on the DBA board since 2015 and was just elected to a second three-year term in 2018. Hibbs is the Vice President and Controller of Boise Cascade.

Molly Leadbetter, Co-owner, Meriwether Cider Company.
Jeremy Aevermann, Owner, Solid Grill & Bar, Liquid Laughs.
DBA board members serve three-year terms. 21 elected, ten Ex Officio, and three Advisory Members make up the Downtown Boise Association Board of Directors. For a full list of board members go to .
The DBA board is designed to provide guidance from members representing the diversity of downtown business sectors including retail, restaurant and entertainment, professionals, and property owners and developers.
