The Board of Directors for the Downtown Boise Association recently welcomed four new members and elected a new board president for the 2019-2020 term. The new board members were announced at the DBA Annual Meeting, the State of Downtown Boise event April 17. The new Board President was elected at the board’s meeting in May.
The DBA is a 501c6 and authorized by the city of Boise to manage the downtown Boise business improvement district. The DBA and the downtown business improvement district exist to enhance the image, vitality, safety, cleanliness, and competitiveness of downtown Boise.
“What better way to build business than build community around it, and that’s what the DBA does,” said Lynn Hightower, Executive Director of the Downtown Boise Association.
“The DBA does all it can to make downtown Boise a great place to be, a place where people feel welcomed to come together to innovate and celebrate, and to generate the kind of economic activity needed for a strong, healthy city. DBA board members are tremendous advocates and great resources in keeping the city and the downtown strong and successful.”
