Boise, June 16, 2020
Downtown Boise Association (DBA) will hold a virtual Father’s Day Car Show on Sunday, June 21
. The annual Father’s Day event, traditionally held in Downtown Boise, will be featured on a dedicated web page at downtownboise.org that will go live at 9 a.m. on that Sunday morning. The mission of the car show is to bring families together to celebrate America’s love of cars, envision the future of transportation, and enjoy downtown Boise while celebrating the father figures in our lives. Due to current health and safety guidelines, the decision was made to feature the approximately 100 registered classic and electric cars in a virtual event for 2020.
Dave Krick, the original founder and long-time supporter of the Car Show, and owner of Bittercreek, Red Feather, and Diablo & Sons restaurants that are directly on the usual footprint of the event said, “Change is easier when we do it together, when we include everyone, and when we celebrate how we got here. Today, we prepare for the world's only
car show that celebrates classic cars over 40 years of age, side by side with modern electric vehicles, and with that we celebrate our ability to set our differences aside and focus on our common interests, and we celebrate good dads.”
