August 24, 2020 – Boise, ID – Downtown Boise Association (DBA) is launching a storytelling campaign in order to support downtown Boise as a whole and to tell the stories of the people that make downtown unique. The short narratives will be posted on the organization’s new website upsidedowntown.org and on the Instagram account @Upside_Downtown_Boise beginning on Thursday, August 27th.
Every couple of weeks after the initial launch, a new story posted to @Upside_Downtown_Boise account will feature someone who lives, works, or plays in downtown Boise. Some will be familiar faces, and others will be the faces working behind the scenes that might not be instantly recognizable. All of them will enchant you with how they came to be part of Boise’s charm and character.
As anyone will attest to, downtown Boise has something exceptional going on. There’s something about being immersed in the laid-back, welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to find the nearest patio, settle in, and stay a while. And though the farm-to-fork restaurants, award-winning craft beers and wine, historic architecture, and unique public art are abundant, what really makes downtown Boise special is the community – the people behind all of those things, making them what they are.
