Grow Downtown: Downtown Boise Association (DBA) Launches New Marketing Campaign

Boise, September 14, 2020 Downtown Boise Association will launch a marketing campaign focused on local food and dining in downtown Boise today. The video series will run from September 14, 2020 through the Fall, with a new video ad being released approximately every ten days. Videos will run on Downtown Boise’s Instagram profile and can be viewed on the Grow Downtown promotion page at once they have been released.

Grow Downtown will highlight myriad local dining options with the goal of inspiring the community to come downtown to support the food and beverage industry that needs it now more than ever. Many of our restaurateurs source local ingredients and incorporate them into their dishes regularly, making the harvest season is a natural fit in which to celebrate Idaho’s bounty of agricultural products.

DBA encourages community members to order food and drinks to go as an option that closely aligns with the extra health and safety precautions being taken in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, patio dining and social distancing measures will be highlighted as part of the promotion. “Grow Downtown” serves a dual purpose in reference to the harvest, as well as helping to grow the traffic to the restaurant industry in downtown.
