San Gabriel, CA – On Tuesday, May 4, 2021, members of the San Gabriel Fire Department, the Verdugo Fire Investigation Task Force and the Los Angeles Archdiocese will hold a news conference to provide an update on the investigation of the fire that occurred last summer at the San Gabriel Mission.
The fire, which broke out at 4:21 a.m. on July 11, 2020, grew to a four-alarm incident and left the Mission with catastrophic fire damage to the choir loft, attic and roof.
