Taste of Downtown Boise Kicks Off its 12th Year This Week!
Boise, October 25, 2021Downtown Boise Association (DBA) will celebrate the 12th year of its annual food and beverage promotion in 2022. Our community is invited to experience the local ingredients and purveyors that make our Downtown Boise food and beverage scene fresh and exciting. They can enjoy a $12 special, social hour, prix-fixe menu, and experience at more than 50 fantastic downtown establishments over this 10-day period. We can’t wait to show you all that your downtown has to offer!

Taste of Downtown Boise is now in its 12th year – with that every participant is offering a $12 special. Please note that experiences are often day-specific, don’t miss out on the fun!

The 10-day promotion runs from Friday, October 28 through Sunday, November 6, 2022.

Participating businesses have designed and will offer special menus for the duration of the promotion in addition to their regular menus. These special menus offer the community the opportunity to enjoy a range of options at select price points.

Richard’s owner and long-time participant Melinda Langston said, “Taste of Downtown allows our - current and future - guests to experience our incredible menus like never before. It’s a fun dining experience where the community comes together to support small local businesses like our own. We love seeing guests leave with big smiles and full bellies.”

All of the participating businesses and menus are digital and can be found on the Taste of Downtown Boise page at downtownboise.org/taste. Previewing the menus and making reservations for many participating locations is recommended but not necessary. Prices for the prix fixe menus are generally per person and do not include tax and/or gratuities. Age restrictions and hours of availability are also listed.

Blair Wilson, Communications Manager at DBA, says “As one of Downtown Boise’s largest annual food & beverage events, this is certainly an exciting time of the year. It [Taste of Downtown] reaches thousands of people from across our state and the surrounding areas, which is incredible to see the outpour of support for our local downtown businesses. And I’m also drooling over all the offerings listed on the website.”

The public is encouraged to share pictures and videos on their social channels, and to tag @DowntownBoise. Use hashtags #TasteDowntownBoise when posting.

Downtown Boise Association thanks sponsor partners for their support of Taste of Downtown Boise including Visit Southwest Idaho, Boise Convention & Visitors Bureau, Idaho Preferred, Sysco, FARE Idaho, and Idaho Wine Commission.
