Twilight Criterium Races into Boise with the " Twilight Trifecta"
Free Friday event is the Trifecta of what Idahoans love;                                                     Community, Cycling - and French Fries!
Saturday, the Top Racers in the World Compete in Downtown Boise
June 28, 2018 - The top pro women's and men's cycling teams in the nation and the best local and national amateurs are prepped to turn the streets of Downtown Boise into a high-speed, high-stakes race course. The 32 nd Annual ASWB Twilight Criterium races into Boise Saturday, July 14 th.
New This Year: Twilight Trifecta
The Friday kickoff to the Twilight Criterium this year combines three amazing community events;
  • Twilight Criterium Racer Meet & Greet
  • Chrono Kristin Armstrong Awards Ceremony
  • Simplot's second annual Free Fry Day celebrating National French Fry Day!
The Twilight Trifecta invites Treasure Valley families and race fans to the park between the beautiful new community gathering space between Simplot Company headquarters building and JUMP to celebrate the world's top cycling athletes and enjoy the world's tastiest French fries!
                What: Twilight Trifecta - a FREE family event to celebrate all things cycling and French fries
                When: Friday, July 13, 4:00 - 7:00pm
                Where: 1000 W. Myrtle Street
What fans and families can expect at the Twilight Trifecta:
  • 4:00 - 7:00pm: Free French fries courtesy of the J.R. Simplot Company, in celebration of National French Fry Day.
  • 4:00 - 6:00pm: Autograph Alley - Fans can have special edition Twilight Trifecta autograph posters signed by some of the world's top cyclists.
  • 6:00 - 6:30pm: Chrono Kristin Armstrong Awards Ceremony - awards presented to the winners of the only professional event of this caliber in the United States in 2018, happening earlier Friday in Star.
  • An opportunity to experience the beautiful new community gathering place between JUMP and Simplot Company Headquarters in Downtown Boise.
  • Meet the people behind Idaho Interscholastic Cycling League and Boise Bicycle Project, two local non-profits that enhance cycling opportunities for our communities in the Treasure Valley.
  • Watch highlights of the 2017 Twilight Criterium on the JUMPotron.
  • Enjoy local vendors including non-alcoholic beverages and beer for purchase and the first chance to purchase the official 2018 Twilight Criterium t-shirt
