Flip It on Its' Ear is an electronic book and interactive video course designed to radically alter how we think about ourselves and public speaking. With over thirty years of teaching, writing, and speaking on the topic Onlee brings mastery level understanding to how we learn and use public speaking in our daily lives.
Flip It on Its Ear is a complete e-learning experience. Book, course, and scheduled online sessions are now available anywhere you are. You're able to store the book directly on your phone or tablet and refer to it wherever, and whenever you choose. Another interactive component is an eye-brain recognition tool for notes called, The Bowden Speaking Wheel. This means you can actually create a presentation on the go and have it for quick reviews, make changes, or to speak directly from. For custom training and design, clients will be able to schedule one-on-one sessions directly with Onlee.
Intended to recalibrate the typical attitude toward public speaking, the goal in Flip It on Its Ear is to reduce fear and replace it with the belief that anyonecan speak with more ease and effectiveness.

nlee Bowden received her master's degree from Central Michigan University in organizational and public com
munication in 1985. She remained on CMU's faculty until the early 1990s teaching courses in advanced public speaking, leadership, organizational communication, and teamwork. She left CMU to begin her own consulting firm, where she specialized in professional speech coaching, organizational development, and executive consulting. As a communication specialist, she followed the 1992 presidential campaigns and was a regular guest in George Weeks' Detroit News Sunday column. In 2008, Onlee authored Another Great Story, a Grand Traverse Chamber of Commerce book that tells the back stories of thirty-seven entrepreneurs who live and work in the Grand Traverse area. The owner of Onlee Bowden LLC, In Your Own Words, Training and Professional Development, her passion work involves living in a small mountain village in Haiti, where she teaches adults and children about the power of creativity and imagination. Onlee, her husband Lee Torrey, and their two dogs Finn and Bea work and play in Traverse City, MI, a northern Michigan destination gem.
