A short-term maintenance contract has been awarded to Extreme Eatz Restaurant Inc, while a separate agreement for the long-term Golf Course operations is being developed.
The company will provide staffing to maintain the Eaglecrest Golf Course lands while the Course is being reconfigured to meet standard golf rules. The interim maintenance contract will also provide mowing and debris removal on the adjacent parkland while Council considers long-term service levels for the area. The month-to-month contract for both the Course and parkland is valued at $32,000/month to a maximum of $136,000, including contingency for unseen costs.
During this transitional period, the Town retains operational control of the Golf Course, including setting maintenance standards and work plans under the advice of a specialized third-party golf consultant.
