The Town is pleased to announce that the Eaglecrest Golf Course Restaurant has now officially reopened to the community after a ribbon cutting reception with Mayor and Council.
The newly renovated space, now operating as The Shack Taphouse, will welcome the public starting today, June 3. The restaurant offers a space for the community to gather and enjoy food and beverages while overlooking the Golf Course.
Over the past several months, the Town and the operator, Extreme Eatz Inc, have invested in upgrades to the Town-owned building, including kitchen equipment, restaurant and banquet hall furnishings, patio, and more. These enhancements have helped prepare the facility for long-term operation and community use.
“The reopening of this space is an exciting step forward for Eaglecrest Golf Course and the broader community,” said Mayor Teunis Westbroek. “We’ve heard from residents how important it is to have welcoming places to gather, connect, and enjoy shared experiences. We’re look forward to residents and visitors enjoying this space for years to come.”
