The Town is inviting the public to share their ideas on how to increase attainable housing for young adults and families, local workers, seniors over 75 and people with accessibility needs. 

Engagement will happen this April and will include an in-person Open House and an online survey exploring which opportunities could most effectively increase the long-term supply and security of attainable housing. 

Ideas generated through engagement will help inform the Ways to Achieve Attainable Market Housing (WAAMH) Plan, designed to create practical housing solutions that align with local market conditions in Qualicum Beach. The Plan will outline actionable strategies for implementation that consider project readiness, policy alignment, and financial feasibility.
