National Artificial Intelligence Association Marks Two Month Anniversary

Over 400 Startups and Enterprises Have Become Members

(Washington, DC) - Sixty days ago, on January 7th, we announced the formation of the National Artificial Intelligence Association or NAIA, a 501(c)6 non-profit business coalition established to engage government on AI progress. NAIA’s mission is to ensure unparalleled innovation, opportunities and global competitiveness to achieve American dominance in artificial intelligence.

In that short time, over 400 companies have joined the organization from 35 States and the District of Columbia. Large enterprises such as Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) to fast growing government contractors like Blue Sky Innovators to breakthrough quantum computing AI firm, Quantinuum, and hundreds of AI startups have joined NAIA to be their voice in Washington.

“Since announcing the birth of NAIA, we have seen the release of DeepSeek from China and Vice President Vance address the Artificial Intelligence Action Summit in Paris” stated Aaron Golbin, Co-Chair of NAIA and Managing Partner of LVLUp Ventures. “As the Vice President relayed to Summit attendees, American AI technology will continue to be the gold standard worldwide and the partner of choice. NAIA will be working to support this effort.”

Caleb Max, NAIA’s Co-Chair and the organization’s lead on federal policy added, “Last Congress over 120 bills were submitted related to artificial intelligence. We expect potentially even more in the 119th session.” Max continued, “NAIA will be pressing to ensure that American innovation is not smothered by overregulation, and we will be working with policymakers to provide a pro-growth environment for the AI industry. The transition to a new technological era is always fearful but history proves that Americans always adapts and benefits from a more productive and prosperous future.”

The National Artificial Intelligence Association is now preparing the organization’s response to President Trump’s Request for Information (RFI) for the Administration’s AI Action Plan (HERE). NAIA Members have been submitting recommendations, and the non-profit will be filing their suggestions to the White House by the March 15, 2025 deadline.
