April 25th - 29th, the Mediation Center is hosting the only certified Family Mediation Training offered in WNC in 2013.

This 5-day training, offered through the Justice Center of Atlanta*, is led by top trainers from WNC and Atlanta.  Classes will be held at the Mediation Center's Buncombe County office.  Visit our webpage for more information, a sample agenda, and a printable flyer.  The training uses an interest-based model that closely follows the community mediation process, as opposed to a "shuttle negotiation" outcome-based focus.  Trainers Jan Woloson, Kathy Marth and Barbara Davis - all current or former Mediation Center staff - ensure a high quality training experience
