The WHI welcomes Ben Miles. Miles has joined the Committee as the institutional representative from Trinity Health Chelsea Hospital, replacing Nancy Graebner following her retirement as the president of Chelsea Hospital back in March of 2022. The committee anticipates three more appointments.
The Women’s Center of Southeastern Michigan

Mission: To promote self-determination for women and families by providing professional services that build confidence, strengthen connections, and create positive change.

Key focus areas: Women’s well-being, including financial and mental health 
 
Services:
Personal counseling: Therapy session costs based on household income and ability to pay.

MomShare: Free drop-in support group for expectant and postpartum mothers and their babies. Sessions are held weekly on Tuesday afternoons and every other week on Saturday mornings. 

Divorce education and support: Free Wednesday night family law and financial education for women at the end of a long-term relationship. Includes programs like Going Solo, a free Thursday evening support group for women going through a partner-related breakup.   
Financial coaching: Private one-hour sessions of individualized financial coaching to help participants gain control over their finances, work through their current financial situation, and maintain financial stability.

Career coaching: Individualized sessions with a career coach who understands the unique position women have in the workplace and the related barriers and challenges.
