An Update from us on COVID-19
Dear Colleague,

There two helpful updates in this email pertaining to Medicaid and the Coronavirus:

1.    Telehealth information sheet, from the NJ Health Care Quality Institute.  Please see the document below for information on access to telehealth visits during the Coronavirus emergency. This document provides a listing of all of the Medicaid health plans in New Jersey; it includes phone numbers to speak to a health plan nurse as well as details on telehealth services that are available through the Medicaid health plans.
2. Medicaid terminations are prohibited during the coronavirus emergency

Federal legislation passed on March 18, 2020 prevents all Medicaid terminations during the course of the public health emergency caused by COVID-19. In New Jersey, all Medicaid programs are considered part of NJ FamilyCare. Individuals who were enrolled in Medicaid as of March 18, 2020, must continue to receive those benefits (unless they move out of state or voluntarily request termination) until the last day of the month when this public health emergency is officially ended.
If you become aware of anyone whose Medicaid benefits were terminated during this period, please contact Legal Services of New Jersey (LSNJ) for help at 1-888-576-5529 or .
