It's VR's Time to Shine!

The Cedars-Sinai Virtual Medicine (vMed) conference is back! Join us on June 30th from 9-11 AM PST to discuss how doctors, patients, and healthcare systems are using VR to navigate new challenges and help confront the COVID-19 pandemic. Read on to learn about this free online seminar open to the first 1000 registrants .
Why Now?

COVID-19 presents unique barriers to patients in need of timely healthcare. The global pandemic has threatened physical and emotional health, caused social isolation, and diminished access to care. Although telemedicine visits can bridge physical gaps between patients and providers, they are insufficient to address the full scope of medical and emotional needs created by the pandemic.

In this online vMed event, we'll explore how home-based VR programs are helping to overcome geographic and staffing barriers of traditional video and in-person visits. We'll discuss how two of the largest clinical VR programs are adapting to the challenges from COVID-19, and we'll examine how VR is helping to bring the humanity back into healing at a time when we are physically and emotionally distanced in a rapidly changing world.
