Currently exhibiting "Line and Space" in Gallery 2, David will be at Art Center Sarasota on Wednesday, March 11, 3:00 - 4:00pm to meet the public and talk about his work and process.

This informal talk will enlighten viewers on the  inspirations of David's work both in his current installation, which is a recreation of his bedroom in wire and his other installations of wire work. www.davidzz.com/

The Wall Speaks - Voices of the Unheard

The exhibit is currently at the Florida Holocaust Museum until April 29.

On Thursday, March 12, 3pm at Art Center Sarasota, Wojtek Sawa, Sarasota based conceptual and multimedia artist will talk about his
interactive installation, "The Wall Speaks" and the topic of interactive art and its role in contemporary art . He will also show slides, video clips and photos from the exhibit.

The Wall Speaks Exhibition has attracted considerable media attention including a recent front page article in the Sarasota Herald Tribune. Mr. Sawa, a native of Poland, has exhibited his participatory installations in museums and art venues in Europe and in the U.S. including Art Center Sarasota (Give a Wrinkle, Give a Story). He will address Polish-Jewish relations in the wake of a renaissance of Polish-Jewish dialog with the building of "Polin" the world's largest museum of Jewish history in Warsaw, the recent Oscar winning film Ida and the Wall Speaks Exhibition itself.
