Explore endless kilometres of scenic Clarington trails

Summer is the time to explore. Grab your hiking boots and sunscreen and check out one of the many beautiful trails and conservation areas that Clarington has to offer. Want to know more about the history of these charming spots? Join the Jury Land’s Foundation for guided tours of Ehrenwort trail – Clarington’s one-of-a-kind pathway linking the residents of Bowmanville to Camp 30, a former German prisoner of war camp.

Nothing brightens up a summer afternoon like the perfect scoop. For an incredibly sweet treat, visit Enniskillen General Store, Newcastle Dairy, Newtonville General Store, Sundae Funday, or Sweet Cravings. With this many ice cream shops, there are dozens of flavours to try – good thing it’s going to be a long, hot summer!

Rock on! Bowmanville Rockin' Rotary Ribs and Brews is finally back!

On the weekend of June 10 to 12, 2022, vendors will come together to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Ribs and Brews. Join the party and enjoy plenty of unique food, drinks, rides, and games with the whole family. Come on out and make some memories.
