| | | Molly Coleman was born and raised in Saint Paul and attended Saint Paul Public Schools. She graduated from Saint Paul Central High School. After spending time out-of-state to attend college, work in public schools in New York City providing student support services, and attend law school, Coleman returned to Saint Paul, first as a renter downtown and now as a homeowner in Hamline-Midway, where she lives with her husband and son. For the last seven years, Coleman has been running the People’s Parity Project, a national legal advocacy organization that she co-founded in 2018 which aims to build a legal system that works for working people and a democracy that is truly governed by the people. She wants to build an economy—and a democracy—that works for working people, especially at the local level. Coleman loves this city and believes she has an obligation to do the hard work of building a more just, more equitable, more inclusive community here in Saint Paul in order to restore faith in the idea that it is possible to collectively build a better world.

About Shop with Cops
Shop with Cops is about building positive relationships between police officers and kids who are typically from disenfranchised communities; pairing them up with a police officer during the holiday season. The police officers, thanks to donations from the foundation, have the kids buy gifts for themselves and their families. This creates an unforgettable bonding experience with law enforcement and the communities they serve.
How the Shop With Cops Program Benefits the Community?
Shop with Cops hopes to break down the barriers between the community and the police with the intent of developing a better and more trusting relationship. What this program does is allow officers and some of these youth to interact in a positive and fun way. Shop with Cops fosters positive relationships between youth and officer

Dual Citizen / Dual Purpose Partners with
The Sanneh Foundation
Dual Citizen Brewing Company is pleased to announce The Sanneh Foundation as its October 2025 Dual Purpose Partner. Through the brewery’s Dual Purpose program, Dual Citizen highlights and supports nonprofit organizations that are creating meaningful impact across the Twin Cities.
Founded by former professional soccer player Tony Sanneh, The Sanneh Foundation is a St. Paul–based nonprofit committed to advancing diversity, equity, and community well-being. The organization provides holistic programming focused on youth development, educational support, health and wellness initiatives, and community outreach. Each year, The Sanneh Foundation serves thousands of young people and families, offering mentorship, tutoring, athletic training, workforce development, and food security programs. Its mission is to empower youth, improve lives, and unite communities through sustained investment in opportunity and access.
As part of the October partnership, Dual Citizen will host a Sanneh Foundation Taproom Pop-Up on Thursday, October 23, 2025. This family-friendly event will feature SUPERHERO costumes, interactive games, and seasonal activities designed to bring together guests of all ages. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with The Sanneh Foundation, learn more about its mission, and enjoy an evening of community celebration. Then, when the capes come off, the jerseys go on. After the superhero party wraps up, the taproom will transform into a Vikings Watch Party, so stick around to cheer with fellow fans.
“Dual Citizen is proud to partner with The Sanneh Foundation, whose work embodies the values of equity, empowerment, and connection,” said Kyle Barck, Operations Director, Dual Citizen Brewing Co. “This collaboration represents the very heart of our Dual Purpose program—using our platform to elevate organizations that make a lasting difference in our community. Together, we’re challenging everyone to channel their inner superhero to empower, improve, and unite our communities.”
Throughout the month of October, there will be information in the taproom and online at dcbc.com on ways to connect and contribute to The Sanneh Foundation, to help support its mission-driven initiatives.
