Alumni Donor Spotlight
Gary Yin, Class of 2003
Meet Lowell High alum, Gary Yin.
Gary Yin, class of 2003, was born in Seattle, Washington. Like many Cambodian Americans, his parents immigrated to the United States as refugees seeking security away from the Khmer Rouge. Gary and his family came to Lowell, Massachusetts, when he was in second grade enrolling at the Bailey Elementary School and then attending the Daley Middle School, and of course, Lowell High School.

After graduating from Lowell High, Gary's educational pathway led him to Middlesex Community College, where
he received an associates degree in business administration. After starting his career in the medical field with laboratory work, Gary found his career in banking.

Gary is now a Branch Manager at Eastern Bank, bringing over 8 years of bank industry experience. Gary has a deep appreciation for the community, which he advocates for through his work and personal endeavors.

Throughout his career, Gary has demonstrated a commitment to providing exceptional customer service and building meaningful relationships with his clients. He has a track record of helping individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals and has earned a reputation as a trusted advisor in the community. Gary has a passion for supporting youth education and advancing causes and Boston area events that highlight the Southeast Asian immigrant experience. In addition to serving on Project LEARN's Board of Directors, Gary serves as a board member for Cambodian Mutual Assistance Association and Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce.
