Spring is off to an exciting start! Last week , we announced Kim R. Ford will join Martha's Table as our new President & CEO on April 1.

Kim brings an extensive background in education leadership and community development—and, as a native Washingtonian, shares our vision of a city in which  every  child has the opportunity to thrive.
Recently, she served the U.S. Department of Education as the Acting Assistant Secretary for the Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education. Before that, she worked as a Dean at the University of the District of Columbia, overseeing programs related to career and technical education. She also served in President Obama’s Administration, where she helped lead the implementation of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
Kim has a fierce commitment to advancing equity in her hometown and a passion for public service.  We could not ask for a stronger leader than Kim to join the MT family.
