A Note from Scott and Marsha
March 4, 2021
We are simply beside ourselves with excitement as spring is right around the corner. This winter has been wet. And cold. We are not sad to leave it behind. But speaking of winter, here's a little story that happened a few weeks ago.

Working with our customers really is one of our favorite things. With three divisions rolling through each day, there is always the possibility for an adventure or at least funny moments that make us laugh. There is a 1 in 3 chance of something funny, or not funny, happening on a daily basis.

One cold, rainy morning, Dylan, our Lawn Maintenance Manager, was texting with a maintenance client. During winter, we handle all the installation of mulch and pine straw for our clients. We asked our client if he minded us coming that morning to complete his mulch installation.

His response was priceless because you could tell he was talking to text. His ending was, "Thanks, Boo." We were sure he meant "dude." But thankfully, Dylan was crazy enough to share the text with us in the office.

This turned into, "Hey lil' Boo, are you leaving soon? Oh lil' Boo. You are so funny. Boo, you have a phone call. Do you need a hug, lil' Boo?"

Any opportunity for teasing and fun is always needed here. It keeps us humble, on our toes and laughing. What is even better is when our customers help! When you see Dylan on your lawn, don't be afraid to call him Boo. He needs all the teasing he can get sprinkled with love.

In the meantime, we will continue to sprinkle love to you with things green and blooming. With warmer temperatures and spring on the horizon, we will be living our best life with a stocked garden center!  Even better is since the weather is warming up, we are opening up The Potting Shed for morning mimosas in the garden, and craft beers or Sunset Slush Italian Ice for your afternoon shopping adventure. Oh. And let's not forget lunch with all the awesome food trucks that will be here!

We've got you covered with all the feels! Not only will you have beautiful trees, shrubs and flowers to plant, but you can do your planting on full, happy bellies! Bring green home ... fat AND sassy. Boom.
Garden Center Features
Heartleaf Philodendron is one of our favorites for its vining growth pattern. It does best in low to medium light, which makes it ideal for those spaces that don't get a lot of sun. When paired with the perfect macrame hanger, you have a match made in heaven.
You may know these beautiful flowers as Carnations. These perennial beauties have a subtle but delightful fragrance, and we particularly like that they come in so many varieties and colors. We know you can find the best Dianthus to add to your perennial garden!
Don't let the name fool you, there is nothing confusing about this shrub if you are looking for amazing spring fragrance, delicate blooms, and evergreen foliage. Sarcococca Confusa is commonly called 'Sweet Box'. Just stroll into the shade section in the Garden Center, take a deep breath, and we are pretty sure you'll want to take one (or three) home.
Tis the season for planning bridal showers and graduation parties! Do you have a space booked? Want somewhere with plenty of room to spread out? Our Robin's Nest, with both indoor and outdoor space, would be perfect for your next gathering. Host your party or shower here! We'd love to give you a tour and share more information!
