Marcela Zuchovicki

Thanks to the counseling and support she received from Entrepreneurship Pioneers Initiative (EPI™)-The Center for Urban Entrepreneurship & Economic Development (CUEED) at Rutgers University in Newark, Marcela founded Jalima & Associates (www.jalimaandassociates.com), a virtual CFO/bookkeeping and Strategic Advisory company that provides integrated cost-effective CFO & bookkeeping services as well as strategic planning & counseling to individuals and small to medium size companies worldwide.

Marcela currently manages day to day operations of her business management, bookkeeping and CFO services for Jalima & Associates and operations management for Jalima Coffee as well as teaching webinars for the NJ Small Business Development Center; also she teaches accounting, bookkeeping, strategic planning and finance for the NJSBDC in Newark, NJ and the EPI Program at Rutgers University. In 2012, Marcela was a business plan counselor and business coach for the Obama's Jobs Act through other SBDCs in NJ. Currently, she is the SBA instructor and business coach for the Emerging Leaders Program in NJ.

In 2014, Marcela received the Immigrant Entrepreneur of the Year, George Perrott Macculloch Award for Leadership and was nominated for the David Sarnoff Award for Advocacy & the Community Engagement. In 2013, Marcela received the award Mentor of the Year in NJ. Marcela serves on the Board and is the immediate past president of the Rutgers University EPI™ Alumni Association; she is a Money Manager volunteer for Senior Services in NJ and also volunteers as a trilingual doctor's aid for a free health clinic in Phillipsburg, NJ.

Susan Boyle

Sue Boyle is the senior leader of GEI Consultants, Inc.'s environmental remediation, brownfield, property transaction, and sustainability practices. Sue also provides statutory and regulatory compliance advice and consults on state incentives and environmental taxes. GEI, a leading consulting engineering firm providing innovative solutions to complex geotechnical issues, has a strong national presence in the environmental, geotechnical, ecological, and water resources disciplines. Environmental consulting is Ms. Boyle's second career; Sue was, among other titles, Assistant Commissioner for Site Remediation in the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP). Sue manages the NJ Licensed Site Remediation Professionals Association (LSRPA), the Economic Development Association of NJ (EDANJ), the New York City Brownfield Partnership, and the Brownfield Coalition of the Northeast (BCONE). She is one founder of and active program committee member for the Northeast Sustainable Communities Workshop (NSCW), for which BCONE and the New York City Brownfield Partnership are partnering organizations. Sue is a graduate of Binghamton University (formerly SUNY Binghamton) and holds a MRP degree from Cornell University. She is Chair Emeritus of the NJ Society of Women Environmental Professionals and currently serves on CIANJ's Environmental Business Council and is a Board Member of the Northeastern Economic Developers Association.
