Meet Mr. Kitzerow, Student Exchange Families Needed, Summer Academy, and more

Mr. Plum visits with new Kettle Moraine Middle School Principal Matt Kitzerow, who is looking forward to meeting district families at Dousman Derby Days. Mr. Kitzerow will have a KM tent and will be giving away KM stickers to kids - come say hello from noon to 3 p.m. July 31!

NHD National Champions Featured On WTMJ4 Segment

Check out this segment highlighting two KM students' National History Day success! For the first time in district history, Kettle Moraine has two national champions in two categories from the National History Day (NHD) competition. Middle school students Emma M. and Krin B. were named champions at this year’s event, where the theme was Debate and Diplomacy in History: Success, Failures, and Consequences.

All Smiles In Pom Pizzazz

Students in Pom Pizzazz learn to kick high, smile wide, and use pom poms to perform various routines to popular music. These activities help students improve coordination, rhythm, and spirit. As a participant in the class, students will be given the opportunity to perform in the Dousman Derby Days parade. Can't wait to see them shine!

Can Your Family Host An Exchange Student This Year?

Two students would like to attend Kettle Moraine High School this school year and your family can help make their dreams a reality! Lara is a 15-year-old from Germany, and Anna is a 16-year-old from France. Lara enjoys cross country, camping, skiing, hiking and swimming. Anna enjoys volleyball, hiking, track and cross country, animals, and movies.

The girls are working with the non-profit organization student exchange organization Nacel Open Door. Anna and Lara will pay all their expenses, and have medical insurance. They speak English, and want to improve and learn American culture.

5K in Kettle Moraine

Children who are 5 years old on or before September 1 may attend kindergarten this fall in the Kettle Moraine School District. The kindergarten program is held from 8:30 a.m. - 3:35 p.m. (except Thursdays with an Early Release at 3:05 p.m.) at every elementary school in the district. Where you live will determine which school your child will attend. Learn more about 5K!

4K in Kettle Moraine

Children who are four years old on or before September 1 may attend 4K beginning in the fall in the Kettle Moraine School District. Classes begin at 8:20 and run until 11:05. Classes are offered at four school sites and several community partner sites. Learn more about 4K!
