Hello everyone,

We wanted to introduce you to someone new at the Peace & Spirituality Center—her name is Olive.

Olive is a small, crocheted dove who has quietly become a curious companion around the Center. She has a habit of noticing the little things many of us hurry past—a thoughtful question, a surprising discovery, a quiet act of kindness, or a moment of wonder hidden in an ordinary day.

In the middle of difficult news, conflict, worry, uncertainty, and everything else competing for our attention, Olive reminds us that becoming peace doesn't always begin with changing the whole world. Sometimes it begins by paying closer attention to it.

If you're visiting the Center, you may come across Olive during your time here—resting in a room, near a window, or simply somewhere unexpected. You're always welcome to spend a few moments with her, take a photo, and pick up one of her little companion cards. Each card carries a simple thought, question, or invitation that you can keep, reflect on, or pass along to someone else. Just like Olive herself, the cards are meant to keep moving—from one person to another, carrying a little curiosity, kindness, and peace wherever they go.

You may also find Olive on our social media, where she'll regularly share questions she's wondering about, fascinating discoveries, little stories, and everyday moments that invite us to slow down, look a little closer, and see the world with fresh eyes.
