Representing Idaho on Capitol Hill

April 27–30, our CEO, Shantae Bloxham, and Education Director, Tennille Call, represented United Way of Southeast Idaho at United Way Worldwide's Advocacy Forum & Capitol Hill Day in Washington, D.C., alongside our partners from United Way of Treasure Valley: Megan Remaley, President & CEO, and Katie Marshall, Community Schools Engagement & Sustainability Manager.

Together, they brought Idaho perspectives to Capitol Hill and advocated for policies and investments that support early childhood education, family stability, and thriving communities.
