There is Still time to Recognize
Your Community Hero!
Everyday heroes are not always recognized. Starting now, ArtWorks is changing that.

We need your help to nominate Community Heroes —local resident heroes who selflessly go above and beyond to make a difference. They could be your neighbors, colleagues or just someone you read about that has made a difference.

ArtWorks will select  100 Community Heroes  from the nominees to be presented with a physical thank-you in the  form of a one-of-a-kind flag designed and created especially for each hero by Youth Apprentices  hired by ArtWorks this summer. There is no cost associated for participation.

Nominations will be accepted through  Monday, July 6 until 5 p.m.

The Artists Sunday Artists Directory is now live , and they would love to add some Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky artists. The directory is a search tool anyone can use to find their favorite Artists Sunday artist or search for new artists and craftsmen that interest them. It's searchable by artist’s name, type of work and city, state and country.

Artists in all mediums are invited to join Artists Sunday, a national promotion and event encouraging consumers to shop with artists and craftsmen. It's like Black Friday, but for art. Participation is free.

Manifest Gallery | Call for Photographic or Lens-Based Art About Tangibility
Manifest, invites visual artists to submit photographic or lens-based works of art about tangibility. Photography and lens-based art is often, even unconsciously, taken for granted as being disembodied from physical reality. However, without catalytic objects such works would not be possible.

For this exhibition Manifest is interested in showcasing works that reveal the 'objectness' of photography either through display of the works themselves, the mechanisms crafted to create lens-based experiences, dialogues between photographic works and their physical subjects, or narrative works explaining the complicated entanglement of light and form. The theme is open to very broad interpretation. Submissions can range from the most traditional to the most conceptual, abstract, or experimental photography, photo-based, or lens-based works

Submission Deadline: July 25, 2020
